Nikon D300

The camera dropped from about 1 meter height on the street, A very smaal dent and a broken glass.

August 28th 2009 5 years after the D200 came the D300 again an improvement of quality. So this is the next camera I bought in August 28 2009 (1168 Euro body, 149 Euro MB D10). At the moment of writing in 2017 I still use this camera a lot. On a holyday in 2015 the camera dropped from about 1 meter height on the street with as a result broken glass above the display and a little dent near the glass. Everything still working perfect.

My only complaint is the working of the internal flash. One way or another the flash has a strange behavior. Sometimes perfect exposure at an another time very high over exposed pictures. This makes the use of the flash impossible.

So to be on the safe site I bought me a used camera with only 10.000 clicks for 250 Euro. During my holiday in Spain in the Ebro Delta region I was taking a lot of pictures of  birds and had to swap lenses regularly so back home I decided to by me an another used D300 and I found a camera also with low count of clicks for an 200 Euros. So now I use the defective camera at home with my studio flash and use the two other ones in the field.
